I just thought that would be a cool idea for a game. About time Space Wolves got some love. Adventure/ RTS/ Fantasy, cool dude kicks ass with a resolving cast. Finally ends being Wolf Guard Termie with Logan Grimnar and goes to war on some big nasty.

Wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to just select SW color scheme and build bunch of assault marines?

They are too much of a niche when approaching combat. The Blood Ravens were developed by Relic as a means of getting into the 40k verse with the least amount of background luggage. They are also a codex standard chapter and as such, well balanced in gaming terms.

That would be a cool mod I would be interested in. But I was thinking more like an RPG, like the Hero characters in Warcraft III. Only more realistic, if it that makes any sense. And grim-dark.
