Hi all, new member, but have been a guest for a few years reading the posts. Never felt the need to post before but thought I'd get a bit more involved.

I've been playing wargames since about 1998 when I took my 11yo son to a GW store so that we could have some quality time together doing something fun. We picked up 3rd Ed 40k boxed set. As my son got older he lost interest, but I found friends my own age who play and although I've changed armies about 3 times, I've kept playing.

40k - chaos renegades (using FW models and some conversions - wip), Necrons
WHFB - Vampire Counts
Flames of War - Afrika Korps (not based on any company), British Rifle Company (2nd London Irish Rifles).

Other games
D&D (sticking with 3.5 edition), board and card games - thanks to The D6 Gen for getting me interested in these. Also play computer games - Fallout 3 being the last one I played to completion. I also spent too much time as a player and DM/admin on a NWN server. Perhaps because of that I never got into WoW.

Work wise, I'm a prison psychologist, I do individual counseling and also run various programs for different offender groups, including drug & alcohol, violent offender and sex offender programs.

I guess thats it!

Hi, thanks for the welcome. The avatar is cropped from the cover of The Complete Scoundrel, a D&D book with rules for rogues and bards. Here is a link to the full cover pic http://www.coverbrowser.com/image/bestselling-sci-fi-fantasy-2007/538-1.jpg
