It's not that "great" but i think it's good enough considering this is my first time to do it.
What do you guys think? I know I should put more pics but I'm not done with it yet
Any comments would be appreciated.

Not bad for a first effort. If you're just starting out, I wouldn't bother too much with "effects" like the green glow around the eyes. Concentrate on the basics of foundation, highlights and/or shading.

Looks good for a firts try,but I agree with Flash don't bother about complicated techniques while you are just starting out first get the basics down.

yes here. Thraka green wash(or green ink) apply to the eye area, and spread it above and below the eyes)
When i see the glow around the eyes i can't help but think, how does the glow go from the recess to out and up a helmet. the helmet has a very prominent brow line and i don't think it would work.(not criticizing you, just an observation)
For your first attempt great job, you have alot of promise.

@fire4effekt
that makes sense lol. So I guess i'll just glow on the bottom of the eye. For now I'll just stick with the basics :]

Don't let me deter you , if you want glowing eyes have em! Make his rebreather glow if you want its your model. My comment was not at you, yours just happens to have that effect i was thinking about today. I see it all the time. Still great job though!
