Hi everybody. I'm Marko, and I've been lurking on these forums for quite a while, occasionally posting something. I've started this project log to keep myself motivated for working on this army and my other forces. (There will probably be pictures of my IG and Tyranids within the coming week.) Right now, I would really appreciate feedback about this Aspiring Champion, my first attempt at truescaling.

Like how you pulled it off, but(from these photos at least), the painting seems a little lacklustre. Good luck with the rest though and I'll be following this one

Try to get some better pictures (macro button, that little flower thingie) would do wonders!

What are you planning on including in this army?

Trial & Error with pictures works wonders, also I feel the waist looks very thin like and needs to be bulked out much more.

Thanks for your responses. The quality of the photos isn't quite what I was expecting either. They were taken with the macro function on the camera I hava available on. I couldn't really get good lighting though, so I'll try to improve on that and get some better pictures up later this week, probably even tomorrow.

@ MAlika2: My current plan is to make at least 4 more squadmates, including one with a meltagun. If they work out nicely, I'll then bulk out the squad to 10 wit a second melta and an Icon. I'm not sure on what to do after that, although I have an idea on how to make a rhino in the same scale; I've found templates for scratchbuilding one, so if I scale those up appropriately, I should get a good-looking rhino at the proper scale.

@ Llamahead: I agree about the waist being a bit thin, but the things I tried to put there (grenades, pouches, a pistol) all didn't work out, so I'll try to make the waist itself a bit bigger on the next ones I'll make.

Try to make the Rhino kind of like the old model!
