The highlands of wine country

This is a scratch built Hydra turret. I’ll be mounting it onto a slightly modified basilisks frame. It was one of my first scratch projects dealing with the 40k realm. I drew out some plans and just started cutting. I will end up making a second one with smaller rivets.
The quad-cannons are still a WIP. I’m also working on a set of rockets for the Manticore variant. The weapons are magnetized for storage and swapping.










Bleed in training, laugh in battle.

It took about 8 hours. The longest time consumer was waiting for GS to mature so I could sand.

fantastic job.
the gs could have been smoother by
a, using a clay shaper
b, mixing in some white milliput - this makes it easier to file
(or use brown stuff instead)
however once painted you probably won't be able to tell anyway!
a good source for manicore missiles would be the valkarie ones.
