Hey guys. I'm making my own chapter and I was thinking of using a patter like these, but I'm not real sure which on looks better

What do you guys think? I was going to have a colored stripe on the helmet indicate the company and a number on the knee pad to indicate the squad.

P.M. me for rational Eldar Advice, both on list construction or Tactics.

Also feel free to query me about rules from the Eldar and Space Marine codices, as well as the General Rule book.

I can't get the URL to work.
Anyhow, I used the B&C painter. On one of the pictures, the armor is bleached bone with dark purple shoulder pads and lower legs. One the other, the scheme is just inverted with dark purple as the main color with bleached bone pads/lower legs. I can't really decide which one I like more.

I dunno...

hmm, white is a tricky colour to manage, and I hope your freehand skills are good enough for that red X insignia...

Dark Purple is this a related chapter to the Emperors Pointy Sticks? The Bleached Bone Purple mix always looks good on the Nids I'd suggest painting purple details on bone as, as I'm sure you know darker paint on lighter paint is usually easier!

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

@ P4NC4K3: What red X insignia?
@Llamahead: No, they aren't related to them at all And the purple is a bit darker. However, it might seem to resemble Chris Blair's Sons of Jaghatai too closley. (How to Paint Space Marines, p. 96)
What sorts of contrasting colors would you guys suggest? I was talking to my mom and she said a light sea blue with yellow or something might look okay. I was leaning towards a dark color contrasting with a light one.
