Following this thread* I'm wondering what Warmachine and Hordes armies do the people of Dakka have?

Playing Since: Escalation/Primal

Cryx: All the casters. One of almost every other model and unit (apart from the last book) a great majority are painted.
Mercs (4 Star Syndicate): Magnus (and Epic) and Fiona. About 1,500 points (MkI) Almost all of this is painted.
Circle: All the warlocks. One of almost all the released models plus a few minions.

Opponents: Menoth, Trolls and Legion are my most common opponents.

First model(s): Necrotech, bought about a year before I started playing, just for the love of the sculp.

Future plans: Get MkII compatible with my Warmachine and Hordes (max out units), buy the nice looking models from the last Hordes book and paint like a bastard!

Playing Since: I've been collecting stuff since before Prime. I remember ordering starter boxes
when they were doing promotional stuff. I've since lost/traded away Sorscha and Deneghra.

Protectorate of Menoth: Every model. And then some.
Cryx: I started collecting specifically for Black Ogrun and Soul Hunters.
Cygnar: Jeremiah Kraye and Stryker.
Khador: Traded away Sorscha, have Irusk, Vlad, eButcher (Fenris army!)
Mercs: Bart

Trollbloods: Borka
Circle Orboros: Kaya, Kromac
Skorne: Xerxis, Zaal
Legion of Everblight: Working on a Rhyas List

Opponents: Khador, Circle, Mercs (whatever oomiestompa
is fielding).

First model(s): No clue anymore. Could have been Prot stuff, could have been Stryker.

Playing Since: Prime. It was tough to find opponents back then.

Khador: The only thing I don't have is Markov. I have some duplicates. Some things still need assembling. Painting be damned!
Mercs (Ever expanding): It started out with Gorten. Then I needed Boomhowler as his was the only unit that worked for Khador at the time. Now, I can field any merc contract (no reason to use Magnus' Agenda, as I don't own any Cygnar or Protectorate models) except Talion. Talion's coming soon.
Circle: I started out collecting everything, but I've been exercising some restraint since Evolution.
Cryx: I wouldn't say I've been playing Cryx, only collecting. They haven't seen the table yet. I'm going for a G-g-g-ghost Pirate theme.

Opponents: Everything under the sun because I play against malfred a lot. But his main is Protectorate and Thanatos73 (my other most frequent opponent) also plays Protectorate, so I think I've played against that the most.

First model(s): Khador boxed set. I originally wanted to use Sorscha in my SoB army. That didn't last long.

Future plans: A small Talion force, but they suck under MkII right now, so I'm going to wait for the official MkII release to figure out what I'm doing with them. There was some talk about crashing Adepticon with WM/H, so maybe, MAYBE, I'll paint some stuff. Maybe.

Playing since Prime.

Cygnar: Had everything up to Superiority, including most of the Mercs. Have traded away a bit of the army.
Menoth: Had a Menoth force, most of which has been traded away.
Legion: Started with Primal. Traded away about a year ago.
Trollbloods: started about a year and a half ago. Have all of Primal and most of Evolution.

Opponents: Khador is probably the most prevalent.

First Model: Probably the Cygnar Battleforce.

Future Plans: None. My gaming time is severely limited now. I haven't played PP games in probably close to a year. Wm Mk II has me a little excited, but it still seems to be a little too much 'this buff, this boost, this unit activates and kills your caster, I win', which I don't find real appealing. Frankly, I'm tempted to trade off my Cygnar army, but I figure at some point, my gaming group will tire of 40k and drift back to WM. If Hordes Mk II was out, I might consider uploading my Cygnar army a little more seriously, since I prefer Hordes.

Future plans: Whatever & Monsterpocalypse. I prefer the more offensive based Hordes but people have gotten really sick of playing against my legion and are getting there with eMorghoul.

Playing Since: Pirates book
Cygnar: All painted and ready to go, maybe 2500 MkI points worth or so. Lured in by Nemo, stayed for the Kraye and eStryker. Good faction when I want to give my opponent a good fight but don't want them to feel cheated.

Legion of Everblight: All painted, 1700 range. Currently fawning over eThagrosh, but have dabbled in pThagrosh and Rhyas mostly. Good faction when I want to beat my opponent about the face and shoulders mercilessly.

Khador: Half painted 1500. Came for the Karchev and 5 jack 750 force. Got into the Old Witch for the model and the force expanded from there. Really digging on eButcher lately. Hard army to figure out really.

Opponents: Everything but Circle. Weird absence of treehuggers in our area.

First model(s): pNemo

Future plans: Retribution!

Playing Warmachine since Superiority; Playing Hordes since a little before Evolution.

Khador: Sorscha, Epic Sorscha, Butcher, Epic Butcher, Vlad; Everything painted
Circle of Orboros: Kaya, Baldur, Krueger, Morvana, Kromac; 1 units of Tharn Ravagers, Wold Warden, Wold Watcher, 2 Pureblood Warpwolves need painting

Opponents: Cygnar x3, Khador x3, Menoth x1, Cryx x2, Trollblood x4, Circle x2, Skorne x2, Everblight x1

First Models: Circle of Orboros and Khador Battle boxes

Future: I'm not sure aside from Star Wars Miniatures my desire for tabletop gaming has become less and less. I've even gotten rid of most all of my 40k.

Khador: i started way to fast, bought about 3000 points of Khador stuff, painted it, then got addicted to hordes. i sold off all my Khador stuff.

Talion Charter: i painted them, a 500 point army, then sold it ( i do this alot)

Circle Orboros: i liked the wald constructs, intended to use baldur, but got sucked into the kreuger craze. soon bacame a crutch and i sold the circle.

trollbloods: i like the beasts but i didnt like the troops, so i decided to JUST use beasts and casters.

NOW: i restarted Khador, but managed it well now. i have about 1000 points of stuff i liked from the first time i played khador. i own 1000 points of Khador (Vlad and Butcher) and about 1000 points of pure beasts trollbloods (Hoarluk, Epic Hoarluk and Grin Angus).

Opponents: we have it all at my shop.

First model(s): i bought asphyxious and his epic form a year before i started, just to paint. when i started with Khador i bought the battlebox and Vlad.

Future plans: just keep playing.

Warmachine Armies:
Khador (lots and lots of Khador, well over 2000 points, but I mostly play Irusk)
Cygnar (less, perhaps 1000 points)
Mercs (Durgen is my caster, so Searforge/4-Star Syndicate)

Hordes Armies:
Trollbloods
Skorne
Neither's more than 1000 points I reckon, and with few exceptions are mostly Primal armies.

opponents: whoever I can find, but after I move I'll probably hit WM/Hordes night at Showcase Comics in Media (Mikhaila's store).

Future Plans: I've got 600-ish points of PoM to paint up after the move. Otherwise I'm fully painted at this point. Probably pick up Gorten and some Forgeguard for the Searforge, a couple of odds and ends for Skorne and Trollbloods. Otherwise I'm going to wait and see how Mk II plays out.

I started hordes/warmachine about a year or so ago.

Didn't like warmachine so much as hordes which has a much more integral mechanic.

I have a circle of orboros army.

I have a skorne army under my bed still in boxes/blisters.

I don't get too many games in but I enjoy the game.

Collected/Played since before Prime (battleboxes for Menoth/Cryx)

Stopped playing after friends moved away and I started new job shortly after.

Picked up Hordes with Primal. I like the Hordes mechanic a lot more than the WM mechanic, though Mk. II looks greatly improved as there should be more jacks (and better jack viability).

Played Trolls. Own all the casters except Grissel and epics. My favorite caster is Grim...though Borka is a close second. I love my blue skinned trolls.

Played a lot of games versus Menoth (who was my regular gaming buddy for about a year).

Nowadays I mostly focus on assembling/painting as it's hard for me to get to the local game store for any large chunks of play time.

I'd like to start a Cryx Mk II Pirate army. eSkarre, satyxis, blackbane's (or revenant crew) and some pirate-y jacks like the Leviathan/Harrower/Reaper.

That or a Cygnar lightning themed army with eNemo.

I mostly pick my armies based on looks if you couldn't tell

Playing since: After Apotheosis, but before Superiority. Whenever that was. Friend of mine got Battle Boxes for us on eBay.

Khador: A good amount of stuff. This was my main army for a long time, before I started Circle. I favor the Old Witch and the Butcher as 'casters, though I fell into the Vlad trap and played numerous games with him to see what all the fuss was about. Never did like Sorscha, and even now she's only about 75% painted. Also, for what it's worth, I really don't like IFP, and they've never performed particularly well for me. Give me Winterguard or Demo Corps any day.

Circle: Still in the beginning stages. I like using two heavy warbeasts, and I like Kaya and Kromac. Mannikins are the devil, and druids are my friend.

Main opponents: Pirates, and a friend who rolls randomly before each fight to see what he'll play.

First models: The Khador battle box, and the Butcher. Followed by Widowmakers.

Future plans: At some point I'll be expanding my Circle army, and picking up various Khador minis that I haven't gotten yet. I'm not terribly excited about MkII; I think the new point system takes something away from the game, but it's hard to put my finger on. Units also seem generally more bland than they used to be. For now, we're sticking to MkI.

Cryx, Mercs, Cygnar, and Skorne. I have played/owned evey faction but Trolls.

Khador - First model Karchev. I guess I have about 2200 points. 90% painted. Someday I'll get to Irusk, Zerkova, mechanics and the Dog.

Painting Pirates now, I guess the total is around 1250 points pretty much every model in the book and then some.

Trollbloods in the que (prehaps 1000+ points) centered around Borka & Epic Hoarluk


I also gave a Searforge Army to a good friend who I knew would paint them... Around 1000 points of Madhammer'n goodness.

I get in a fair amount of games against Legion, Trolls, Cryx, PoM and some Cygnar and Circle... and of coarse Khador (my group is a bunch of tread-heads)

I Play Cygnar and HC mercs...

Just started playing a couple months before release of MK2 field test. Started with khador and loved them ever since my first test games.

Currently casters are: Sorscha, irusk in the mail.
Have about 300pts between a couple jacks and Kell bailoch.

My first model was a jugg from ebay.

My three good friends play cryx cygnar and menoth. Only just recently found a gaming store up in mass. Havent played there yet though.

Hopefully I will have a decent fieldable MK2 army in a month or two.
