So. Been lurking here for a while now (couple of weeks, i think) and this seems like a good time to get off my arse and sign up.
Recently got back into 40k after a long break (used to play 2nd ed, although it might have been third, been a while) with a friend, using his models, and now had enough cash to grab some guard and get them together, which i've wanted to do for ages.
Said army is now in the process of being painted (some urban camo, one squad in forest, tanks to be decided, and some pink (in-joke for me and a bunch of friends who've been playing Dawn Of War for years) veterans), and i'll shove some pics up when they're done. However, ability to post/actually being useful (fat chance of that, but hey) is always nice.

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can. |
