Hi I was at games workshop today and I was doing a 300pt battle and I wondered about the ultimate 300pt battle (it looked like

) and I decided it was abbadon and a count them 1 thousand son yes its very very illegal but if it was legal what would you choose to fight it with I won (killed both abaddon and a thousand son) with 3 squads of 5 chaos marines each with a plasma gun but what would you choose this follows the combat parol rules which as far as I have used work well with 5th

Wait wait, what? The only thing I got from that was that you played an illegitimate 300pt game with like a 250pt model...

But... I'm used to poor English and grammar skills, so from what I think you're saying, I'd take an Executioner with plasma spons and Sly Marbo. That's all I would need to kill just about anything in an illegal 300pt game.

I'd imagine a Railhead with a multi-tracker could just zoom away from Abaddy all game. Or a bunch of Land Speeders. Or pair of cheap Dakka Flyrants. Or a couple Valks. Really anything that could move faster than 6" a turn and shoot at Abaddy would win.

My preferred battle size is 3,000 points. I will grudgingly go down to 1,500 for a newb, but what you're blathering about is simply madness.

300 points is two squads of 20 shoota boyz (240) and an unmodded Warboss (60). I'd bet on that vs. Abbadon. Also, it fits FOC.

I really don't think it'd be hard at all to do better that. Like AT ALL. (I mean the grammer not the list)
The list can be beaten by just about anything at all.
The thought of ONE land speeder zooming around the map with an assault cannon makes me laugh and its not even 300 pts

I must agree with Warpcrafter, the idea is just stupid. If however, I was going to play the game, I would take a unit of GK Terminators, as they would mulch Abbadon.
