If they are all in range and can draw an unobstructed line from the model to the target (360 sight but they block each other's vision).

O represents targeted rank unit, ^ way the fast cav are facing.

So only the F may throw a weapon since the rest of the unit cant see ?

No, I think you can shoot with more than just the "F" in your scenario. You can draw a line from most of the front to some point on the targeted unit. If your fast cav were ranked two deep (for some reason) then you would probably be screened. Or if they were trying to target a single man sized model 1" off their flank, you'd also probably only get one shot.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

I agree with Red, the LINE for Line of Sight is...uh...pretty thin.
So if you could measure from any part of the model to any part
of the enemy unit without going through an ally, you are good to go.
throwing axes away!

that makes sense. No point in taking throwing axes if i have to face my entire line at the target. Ill try out throwing axes on marauder horsemen this week at FLGS.

Make sure to let us know how it goes. I have a few WoC units although I haven't played since the new
codex has come out so I would like to know if Marauder horsemen are worth it or not.

I would say you can.

for example

XXXXX
XXXXX FFFFFF

F is fast Cav X is target unit.

The other Fast Cav members have line of sight to the Entire unit, as they can throw their weapons at the second rank as well, rather than just throwing all weapons sideways.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.
