I am the latest newbie. Just started playing Warhammer 40K and looking to meet others in the Sacramento, CA area to play a little. I learned to play while on a 3 month long business trip in Alabama and so I do not know anyone back home in Sacramento who plays. I am a very casual gamer and not competitive. I am not interested in playing with anyone that is interested more in winning than in having fun and meeting people and making friendships. That being said, I am not interested in playing with people that can't keep focus or who leave the room for long periods of time. A happy medium would be some chatting while in the room and paying attention to what is going on. I have lots of other hobbies (My wife says too many) including drums (I play in a band - Look up Red Thorn 6 on youtube), Aviation, Community Activities, Computers, and spending time with friends and family.

I used to play Magic the Gathering CCG, but sold all my cards long ago. I still have all my Jyhad/Vampire CCG cards and Rage CCG. I am interesting in meeting people who want to play those too! Of course, I am not the kind of guy that wille have the time to play on a daily or even weekly basis, but perhaps bi-weekly or Monthly would be great. Ideally, I would like to find between 4-5 people to play Warhammer 40K one day a month.

I currently have a 1000 pt. (maybe a tad more) Chaos Marine Army with a Defiler and 2 Predators. I hope I can find a group that will all get along and enjoy playing the game!
