Hey,

I have been using micron pens to get great black lines for the armor crevices of my new Tau fire warriors, but I've been finding that a brand new pen will only do about 2 models before crapping out on me. For the first model or two, they give me a great black fill for the tiny lines in Tau infantry armor, but the ink quits flowing very well after a while. Is there a secret to using or caring for micron pens that I don't know about? I feel like they should give me way more ink than they are now. Thanks.

BTW I'm using the .25mm black. Also, do they make a smaller black one? The art store in my town only has black down to .25mm.
As an alternative answer, does anyone know of a better way to get really clean sharp black lines in tau armor? I don't want to use a wash. Thanks again.

I am having the same issues and I know that the paint is dry. I am just happy its for my brother and I am not the one buying these pens are I would have said forget it a long time ago.

I for one know that these things are not out of ink but can not figure what is the issue either.

Oi!! Which Butt'n makes dis ting go!?!

I though it might be wet paint my first time too, but with my second pen I waited a full 48 hours after painting to apply ink. It still quit after one model. Is two days not long enough to dry? could it be temperature related? I paint under a lamp that can get kinda hot.

no its just the paint, try sealing it first then apply the ink then wait to seal the ink,it should work better
