Hey guys,

So I bought some non-acetone nail polish remover from Target (a store in the US) from the brand Studio Tools

It works great! For about 45 seconds and then it starts to melt things together. I managed to get away more or less unscathed as nothing is irreversibly glued together (yet) and the details on the plastic and metal models are fine. The bases did start to stick together. The paint comes right off though, as you pour it, which amazed me.

Be careful with this stuff! It works but you gotta be quick

PS It smells awful and the smell stays for a while and is giving me a headache

Thats why you have to use proper ventilation when you plan on stiripping minis.

Just use Simple Green from target... Works a lot better and is bio friendly to both the environment and yourself.

Simply empty the spray bottle into a big glass canning jar and put your minis in it. Seal it and let it sit and do its magic. I usually leave mine in a week at a time cause I'm so busy I usually forget about them.

Plastic and nail polish remover does not mix. also something that doesn't mix well with gw plastics. mineral spirits.

what does strip paint off metal fast. easy off oven cleaner sprayed into a mason jar. IN A VERY WELL VENTILATED AREA with a mask on.

but if you got time to waste, simple green in a jard witha tight lid. leave for two days and filter the simple green back into the jug with a paper towel.
