I have been posting video's on youtube for a while now (http://www.youtube.com/user/RAMBO2BASE - if your interested). Someone called 'Razgriz515' has asked me to post my list on here. I had heard of this site before but had never actually been on here. So, thanks to 'Razgriz515' for recommending it & here's your list.

I have wrote several but this is the only one i have actually won a Game with - Vs Necrons.

HQ
Company Command
Vox
Missile Launcher
Chimera
Stubber
Hunter Killer Missile (Just for a Laugh)

Troops
Platoon Command
Power Fist

Squad
Vox
Commissar
Squad
Melta

Squad
Vox
Commissar
Squad
Melta

Squad
Melta
Auto Cannon

Veterans
Melta x3
Missile Launcher
Chimera
Stubber

Fast
Bane Wolf - Free Flamer Upgrade
Bane Wolf - Free Flamer Upgrade

Heavy
Leman Russ - Lascannon
Leman Russ - Lascannon
Demolisher - Standard

In retrospect I could have saved some points with the Hunter Killer Missile & taken another Melta Gun, it would have been a lot more useful!
Also, with the points I've spent on Troops in this list it would have been much more beneficial to have taken more Veterans in Chimeras & ditch the foot units altogether.
The Lascannon Upgrades for the Leman Russ's also proved rather pointless.
I only added the Bane Wolf Tanks to see how they worked in practice. They did exactly as i had hoped, added pressure to the Advancing Necrons, Melted several each & then got annihilated!

Any comments feel free to fire away. Thanks for taking the time to read my waffle.

Hello, Rambo!

It looks like you ant to engage enemies in close range with the meltas. No other cheap or efficient weapons that you can use from range?

The missile launchers - I've never used them, but from what I understand, they're not the best. Autocannons and lascannons? Just a shot in the dark there, feeel free to correct me if they are useful.

The ML on the vets will keep them bogged down, since with the meltas, we can assume they are armor poppers or heavy infantry killers. The ML needs to stay still to fire, unfortunately.

A plain PCS? If you have any points left, give them a flamer of two, but that's up to you. And a vox MIGHT be useful when reissuing failed orders. Anyone comfirm?

From what I undertand, the stubber is crap. Feel free to drop it, since your chimera already has a ML/Flamer/HB.

The LCs on the Leman Russes may not be useful, but keep them here for anti-tank purposes if needed. I'm looking forward to using the Demolisher in the future, looks like a very useful vehicle.

The Bane Wolves look good. Just keep them out of the line of fire the best you can. Looks like they are effective against the Necrons.

Hope I helped!

Hey there Dude..... It's all a bit new to me really. I'm just trying out different things to see what works for me. I must say that the Missile Launchers do work quite well for me, especially on the Veterans. I know that they can't be used if the unit has moved, i just find them an extra punch, if i haven't moved. Maybe I'm just lucky...
AutoCannons & Lascannons, i do like them, but again, they only really see to work for me on veterans. The BS of 3 on a standard Guardsman is just too unreliable i find.
Plain PCS. I did that because basically my men are just there to die &/or hold objectives. I don't find any of the orders all that useful. The one i have used most is Move,Move,Move! Maily for running at Objectives in the penultimate turn. Maybe i just need to play around with them more.
I still think that in future, i will probably drop my Infantry squads all together & run Veterans. For the points it seems i can have 3 squads of Veterans in Chimera's, which would be mega tough & have some sweet weapons. Standard troops, although plentiful simply die & run too easy. Even with a Commissar. The 420 points that it cost for all the men i have would, in my opinion be much better spent on Vet's.
Future developments -
Vanquisher, Exterminator, Knight Commander Pask & a few more Chimera's with Vet's.
Cheers for the chat.
PS - Stubbers do suck.

Vets are supposed to kick arse and take names, so you'll probably be successful. But, the cost of the Chimeras may be an issue. I don't believe Commissars are good on vets, but they MAY be for those holding their ground while the others flank. You could be a bare bones CCS, PCS and two infantry squads just for a meat shield, but that may run you high, if 170 IS high that is.

Both tanks options listed in the future developments are delicious. Looking forward to your next video!

Given your current tactics and Airman's comments; maybe Marbo is in order

I have got a conversion of Marbo i made actually. I must admit that he is quite cool. He just didn't deliver enough of a killing punch before he died. If he hadn't been Bladestormed i think that he would definitely have given the pathfinders something to worry about though.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Marbo is really a hit or miss choice. He'll either to rediculously well and live up to his fluff or die on the first turn he arrives

Also, Stubbers are suprisingly awesome.

Two games the one on my chimera fired in, its killed an obliterator (before firing the multi-las, or hull HB), two guys from a CSM squad, 6 ork boyz, a nob, and put a wound on a warboss.

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can.

Oh god. Don't talk to me about Ork's. i played a game against them last night with my Tyranids & got minced! But that's a discussion for a Tyranid page.
Thanks for the comment.

Orks vs Tyranids...now that would be a good battle

It was bloody until the end. It was only due to some unlucky roll's to hit that i lost. Plus my opponent saw my army play a game before hand & wrote a list with loads of Power Claws in to deal with my 2+ Save Monsterous Creatures.
I'll start another thread & add the list i ran on it.....
Thanks for your comment.

On a re-read...

I dont rate comissars at all highly... they do very little until the squad is being killed off, and then if it holds the line, is that all that useful... May be wrong though, not run them yet.

Also, 5 points for a vox on the PCS wont kill you, and thats a reroll on another order a turn, hopefully.

AAAAAnd one more thing, I dont like missile launchers, after having used them, even on vets. the frag is barely worth the points against swarm, and the krak is barely worth the points against MEQ, also, bad things happen when that chimera gets immobilised or knocked out. (And against mech, melta vets or CCS should be the other guy's #1 priority).

But hey, thats just my 2 pence.

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can.

Valid point dude. Commissars are quite useless really, unless you want to hold me in combat. Which, with Guard, isn't the best idea. My new list is totally mechanized. A shed load of Tanks & a couple of groups of men in Chimera's. I'll post the new list just as soon as I've played with it. Which will take a week or so as Forgeworld haven't sent me my new toy's yet...... Grrrrrrr!
Thanks for your 2 pence though.

I'm a bit scared to play against your armoured list, but if you've still only got two vet squads you might be a bit vulnerable in objective games. Maybe take some cheap penal legion squads?

Valid point 'I-bounty-hunt-the-elderly'. However, my new list doesn't work on holding objectives. Merely destroying everything on the board before it get's chance to do anything. Basically, if i can't win. I'm taking you with me!

Seems weak to me. VERY weak. You have around 70 models. Let us know how it works out.

Well, it has already worked out just fine thanks. There was much blood shed, & although it was a close battle with me running for objectives in the final stage, i did secure a victory. I have since re-wrote my list, including a few new toys i have acquired & hardly any men. I haven't played with it yet though. I will add it on here when i do. I have called it my Artillery army to give you a clue what it is like.
Despite your condescending comments thanks for your input.

Thanks. Is it just me or do people on this site seem quite moody? I must say, i don't seem to be getting much positive feedback on my posts.
You & Airman are probably the nicest people i have spoken too.
I think some people take this game a little too seriously.

Why so? Is this so he still strikes at his Initiative (3) or do you have another reason for this?
