Hi. My name is Ben and I have been into warhammer 40k for about 7 years now since I was a freshman in college. I started off with tau because no one else played them in the group i was with. I never won a game with them, they just didn't fit my personality. So I switched to Space marines.

After a few years of those i finally got bored and with the new ork codex and battle force with the sweet trukk and bikes I couldn't resist. Up until this point all my models had remained in gray plastic form. I started painted the orks about a year ago, it has been a slow process but I have about 60 boys painted up so far, mediocre at best quality. This is what really got be hooked. Playing with a painted squad just made me want to paint more... and learn to paint better.

So that's my hobby status in a nutshell. I always am looking around, even though I'm very quiet. Sure I could post up the congrats on nice works but I try to only post if I have any anything constructive (which is hardly ever since my skills are pretty weak).

My next task is to build a light box for taking pics of my minis
or a painting blog or something like that so I can get more tips on painting better.

Here is my warboss Junk'ead. (Only pic I have atm) I can't come up with my own color schemes worth beans but I can copy pretty well. I just used the GW image for the black reach boss. No fancy conversion work or the like. just trying to work on paint skill. This is the best I can do at the moment after practicing brush control on 40+ boys. (some look awful) I have added a some of the finishing details like the earings and drilling the barrels, I just don't have an updated pic.

Sorry for no light box. I haven't made one up yet.

He looks nice,few touch ups here and there and he will look very nice.
