Right, just about finished my WoC 1500 point army for a local league:
2x lvl 2 Chaos sorcerers with barded steed
2 lots of 5x Marauder Horsemen inc mus & std, flails, lt arm and thr sprs
2 lots of 5x Chaos hounds
2 lots of 5x Chaos knights inc mus & std
All with the mark of Nurgle
Now here's my dilemma...
Do I use a mounted exalted hero or Hellcannon to finish the army off? I have both figure wise but can't decide which would be best....
Peoples views...?

Both sound like good options to me . However, since you have such a mounted / fast theme, it seems like a mounted hero would fit in nicely!

Yea, a meaty mounted fighter would be good, and it looks like you've got the points to invest in him. Got a build in mind?

Was thinking of using Exalted Hero with mark of Nurgle, barded Chaos steed, Filth Mace, magic shield and Bloodcurdling Roar...

Roar was on the top of my list Mad style points for the filth mace, very cool. I'd go with bronze armor and a mundane shield though, as immunity to KB is better for a dude with a 1+ save than a 0+ save is. And with only Ld8 it's not like he needs to spread it around much (assuming he's the general).

Made one final change to the list, I have changed the Exalted Hero to another mounted sorcerer as the sorcerers did a lot more damage than the hero did against the Empire...
