Subject: 5ed rules vs 4ed codex Tau Jet Packs

Hi. I'm new to 40k and i've just built my bran new Tau army and played a couple of battles with it. I am having one problem with a rule thought.
It has to do with the Tau Jet packs and deep striking. In the 5ed rules under jump troops it says all jump troops may deep strike. Then it goes on and mentions Tau Jet packs may always move 6" during the assault phase and has no exceptions mentioned. This tells me tau jet packs may move 6" on the assault phase after deep striking. How ever in the 4ed tau codex it says the crisis suits may not move 6" on the assault phase after deep striking. Which rule wins since we are playing 5ed rules?
Edit: I did ask this question on a different forum and i got about 50/50 yes and no's. This forum was referenced so i decided to ask here.

Codex specifics always beats General rules. Unless there is an updated FAQ, I say the TAU codex wins until changed.

Tau Codex Rules Override the BRB rules for Jet packs. Oh God Damnit. Look, you have set up the poll to be able to vote Yes AND no. I guarantee you will get a 50/50 on this forum too.

Codex > Rulebook. So, no, they can't.

Your answer is the Tau codex has an additional restriction for Deepstriking Crisis suits.
And your poll is badly set up as Crisis suits aren't the only Tau units with Jetpacks. Those that get tired halfway through your post will just select YES as the 5th ed rulebook part is exactly how far they read.

HAHA. that's funny. That means that stealth suits and crisis suits cannot move the 6" in the assault phase but gun drones can (since there are no rules stating that they can't). I completely forgot about gun drones deep striking.

How is it funny? Considering it was written in the Codex (rather than into the rulebook), it is pretty clear that Crisis Suits are not meant to be able to Assault jump, while Drones are. I Guess the justification is Suit Pilots are Squishy and can't handle the sudden drop as fast as some nuts and bolts can.
