Chicago based Dark Angels collector. Haven't fielded an army since Rogue Trader. But got back into the hobby recently. I've been collecting and building my current DA army for about 3 years now. I haven't tallied up an exact point count but it's a little OVER NINE THOUSAND!!! No really... I'm not just going for a meme here. It's just slightly over 9000.

Anyway... I was hobbying in a GW in Bloomingdale Illinois when a fellow nerd suggested I check out Dakka Dakka... and lo... here I am.

Nah. Nine Thousand has long since grown beyond 4Chan. It's practically dinner conversation.

In fact I've trained my 3 year old daughter to say "What! NINE THOUSAND" every time she hears me say "Over Nine Thousand".

So much so in fact that once my wife asked me what time a show would be over. I said "Oh it should be over around nine thirty". From the playroom I hear:

"WHAT! NINE THIRTY!!".
