This is a mini that I painted for the Storm Lords- a force I've been doing for quite some time.

Comments and Criticism are welcome.

My only critique is that you need to drill out the storm bolter.

"From the fires of Betrayal unto the blood of revenge we bring the name of Lorgar, the Bearer of the Word, the favored Son of Chaos, all praise be given to him. From those that would not heed we offer praise to those who do, that they might turn their gaze our way and gift us with the Boon of Pain, to turn the Galaxy red with the blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods."

As stated above drill the bolter. But besides that this is pro work

"That for all the Emperor's love of his space marines, his ultimate creation - he was in fact nearly killed by one of them, only to be saved by a mere mortal with a 5+ save and a flashlight."

Really nice. Top notch stuff. Drilling metal bolter holes is tough, so I won't give you crap about that. My only tiny teeny little gripe is that his head is a little too yellow for my tastes. Other than that, really great, very smooth, really pops.

Beats mine by a mile.

Looks good. Drilling out the stormbolter is hardly a necessity.

I painted it bronze first, then painted the silver metal over that before washing and adding higher highlights. So, that's probably what you're seeing.

I find that starting out with bronze gives my metals a much deeper look to them, it makes the layers pop more.

Wow I am speechless! The attention to detail and the crack in the skull is just really good artwork!

Now I want to see a group shot of all of your paintings
