Yeah, so my Sony Ericsson W810i is slowly but surely dying.

I love the phone though, so I don't know what to swap it for. My only caveat is that I would really preffer my new phone to be another Sony, but if someone knows a good phone that is easy to text on (I do 99% of my communications via Text), let me know!

Also being cheap would help

Nokia is your friend for text, if you're alright to shell out 150 or so.

I like nokia phones for texting. I currently have the Nokia n95 8GB. And i find the buttons are a bit to small. Sometimes i hit the edge of the wrong button

Before I made the jump to a blackberry I had one of these. Good sound quality, and the keyboard is about as good as it gets. You can't text one handed, but its far faster.

I have the same phone (Sony w810i) and would reccomend getting it again. I think it can be picked up for £60 in the orange shop at the moment which includes a free sim and £10 of credit.

I used to use nokias all the time, but i'll stick with sony now. The amount of abuse this thing has endured and still kept functioning is incredible. It's like the S&M slave of the phone world.

I know I'd rather have it again, but the thing Is it uses the Pro Duo memory Cards, and to get a decent sized one of them nowadays is more expensive than a new phone :(
