9 isn't overkill in 2500. There are a lot more instant death weapons in 2500 so be warned. As for LR's I wouldn't worry about it to much. Maybe drop one of the oblit and plague marine squads and take 2 landraiders as transport if you really want them but I don't see a whole lot they could add to it.

Change those DPs to Lash DPs. Then grab two more Zerkers for that squad.

It's both good and bad that Lash DPs are the cheapest and most effective build.

Lash DP's are going be almost useless against most of the armies at probably going to be running Ard Boyz. Think of it this way. Most people are going to be spending the points to have the defense or they'll be mechanized. Personally paying for something i might use 1 game out of 3 isn't something i'm a fan of. Your princes are fine. Tough and capable of laying out the beatings.
