Whenever I do a search it will bring up however many pages of results. The thing that really annoys me the most about it is that the results are not in order from latest to earliest. Each page will go from an earlier date to a later date starting from the top. Why doesn't it work like most search functions where page 1 is the latest posts and then it keeps getting progressively earlier and earlier the more pages you go. Instead of repeating the earlier to later, every page like, what is done on DAKKA.

Is there a plan to improve the search format in the future?

The search does indeed suck and it will be fixed, but it is quite low priority. All I can advise for now is to search google using site:www.dakkadakka.com before your query as google does a better job indexing our site than we do right now.

Eg; search for posts about orks by generalgrog:
site:www.dakkadakka.com generalgrog orks
