I also posted a Skaven list, as these two are the races I am most interested in, but I will probably go with Lizardmen, thanks to the lower model count and new Army Book. I'm not sure how good the below list would be, and I am thinking about dropping the Scar Vet and one unit of Skirmishers for more Saurus Warriors. I know that Stegadons are very popular and competitive, but I am not interested in investing in any huge models right now. The further advantage of this list is that I can use every model in the battleforce. The scar vet would probably work better with shield of the mirrored pool. 4x10 skinks work better than 2x20 and I would try to get some more temple guard because 12 wont last long...maybe drop the saurus to get more. I usually run 10 strong saurus on the sides of the temple guard to flank whatever might hit them.

Ah, ok. I was a little unsure about which shield would be a better choice. I'll edit my OP based on your comments.
I dropped 20 skinks, and split the remaining skinks and saurus into units of 10. I replaced the scar-vets shield as well, and added 6 more Temple Guard to the unit guarding the Slann.
This left me with 14 points to spare, so I added a musician to the Cold One unit to help against outnumbering, etc, with 4 points left over.

Those blocks of Saurus warriors look rather small. At 10 as soon as you're losing any you're losing attacks (assuming they have spears!) and as soon as they lose one they've got no rank bonuses! I'd like to see them as one unit of 18 or 20.
I like the list! It's magic-heavy, so you'll probably want to sit back and let them come to you. If I remember right the razordons have range, so it's good that you're taking two. You can march-block with the skinks and you have a solid center and good magic, but your only mobility is the calvary. I would think they'll get targetted quickly and then you'll be pretty static. Just something to keep in mind as you try it out and see what works

Why are the TG at 18? If the slaan sits with them, they only need to be 16 to gain full ranks. That should give you some points to make the saurus 12 strong, so they can run 2x6 for maximum poking.
If you need more points, you might consider dropping the Higher State on the frog. If he's within the TG block (with sun banner, no less), about the only thing that is going to pick him out are stone throwers or template magic (pit, etc). Higher State only protects against the first, and even then several throwers are magical too ...

I would drop the saurs all together old one and units
Krox blox are much better overall
16 skinks and 2 kroxes stand mus is 204 points!
Im also not sure I like you set up on the slann, but i want to consult my book first there
get a third razor in there
and some terradons
and drop the temple guard, theey are awsome models but, they make the slann very killable

Krox blocks are only good against WS3 T3 opponents. Dwarfs, chaos, elves will all take them apart.
A 3x6 rank of saurus with command is only 236, so you only save 32 pts.
I would suggest you up the saurus to 18, and trade the razordons with sallies.
That gives you 3 good blocks, with the sallies and skinks to watch your flanks.

Wow i don't find that true at all, if anything I think saurus arn't worth the points and are much less effective
krox blocks move 12, can shoot , cause fear, and in genral have more ranks then saurus for the points,
salamanders work as units of one, 3 razors are pretty important for a well done list.

Krox/Skink units always give your opponent the option of winning by knocking off the skinks, and they are dependent on your krox rolling well. With WS 3, Two krox are only going to average 3 hits.
Against WS4, T 4, 2+ armor save troops, that averages only 1~2 kills. Those units can easily devote some attacks back on skinks to win combat and force tests.
A 3x6 saurus unit would do roughly the same wounds, and would take fewer in return, and is a 30 pt premium. But they would win by 1.
As for the razors, yes they are good, but the key is to use the sallies to whittle down ranks and force units to charge them so you can fall back and get a charge off with the saurus block.

Sadly I dont agree at all, I'd rather have the krox so I'm not auto breaking from fear, the thing about krox blox is they hardly ever get charged. there movement 12 keeps them just out of the reach of most units and on the charge they kill enough that even if the other guy swing on skinks it's normally not enough for them to win thew combat let alone break the unit.
I disagree about the salies, you have enough other types of units in this list to widle things down. 3 razors protect a flank all on there own.
