I have always been a console gamer and recently GW has been satisfying my needs(heheh I just satisfying needs) and have been looking forward to some of their console games. Dawn of War has been very beneficial to the awareness of the tabletop game and I have used it to get a few friends to play some games, I hope these new releases will do the same. Also I recently read that Blood Bowl got pushed from second to third quarter this year for release can anyone confirm that?

No release date is known as of yet. And the game will not be a platformer but an action RPG.
