Woot this is warhammer related , received 2 full armies today in the mail.

I spent my day painting and designing a robot for a comic. Lots of fun.

2 - The hobbiest - The guy who likes the minis for what they are, loves playing with painted armies, using offical mini's in a friendly setting. Wants to play on boards with good terrain.
Devlin Mud is cheating.

It's a pretty fantastic day all around. Between getting fired up over my orks and getting started on an exciting project (Looted 'Nids, starting with looted deathspitters and BSs, moving up to a Carnifex Dread) I'm feeling pretty happy.
Plus, I just ate nachos.

Happily gluing my orks... its weird normally i would go insane by now , maybe its the glue ...

Well after gluing my finger onto the model , gluing my pinky onto the base... the metal ones are some what held together atm.... phew...

I found some plastic champagne glasses that are in two parts at my favorite supermarket and glued the bottoms of them to my deffkoptas. They are twice as tall as the standard flying bases that they came with, but they are much more robust. The old ones would snap if I just tapped them against a slightly hard surface. Now I need to find something to do with the 12 top sections. I also glued metal washers onto the bases of my Nobz, which are way top-heavy because I added bionik bits and twin shootas to them. Overall, I'm rather pleased with the way that my Orks are coming along. If only I could win a battle with them... Oh, and I tried the new strawberry/peanut butter M&M's. I give them a 3/10.

Just put a joint of beef in the oven for dinner! Gonna have all the trimmings - Mash, Roasties, gravy and, yorkshire puds. Also have a couple of bottles of very nice red wine that I got from a friend. Hope the weather holds so i can eat outside

I got out late because of snow days. Also, it we get out later so that we don't have to go in sooner. It takes a while for the snow and ice to melt, so summer is slow in coming.
And then it's just too damn hot! LOL.

I signed a lease on a new apartment today (well technically yesterday now.) I was initially going to move to a new complex, but when I told my land lord, he gave me a deal I couldn't pass up. Starting August 14th I'll have an apartment with a room to dedicate as a studio. Just think, soon I won't be breathing toxic pastel dust whenever I'm in my bedroom every time I do a drawing!
