So I'm shopping for nice army transports and Sabol and Battle Foam Fail to carry their advertised products only purchased as pre-order. BF only shipping in July and Aug and Sabol re-stock in mid July. I know BF is worth waiting for especially for the custom trays but the 2 main companies out of stock at the same time is bad biz for both. I'd buy from who ever was more prepared. -Sigh-

Just got my BF on Saturday. Worth the wait and then some.
The BF excels with the customer cut stuff for your big boy toys ( Land Cruisers, drop Pods... what ever). I got the Space Marine build out and the 1520. Pefectly fits my army with excetion of the Vanguard vets which are too tall.

Thinking about it just for times like this. $$ to be made for sure. I know at least 30 people waiting for something to become available. We'll see

I've been waiting for a transport as quality as BF for 16 years. It is well wort the one month wait. I've already place my second order with them.
The following is pure speculation:
The reason for the wait for BF is that they are still a relatively new company, and rather than investing in tons of back stock up front, they spent their initial capital on a quality manufacturing process. Demand has been so high, that they are having trouble keeping up with demand. I'm sure that they will reinvest some of their profits into increasing production

That makes sense. The company I talked to today about designing a bag said it takes about 10 weeks.
I put in a estimate request for a bag I designed today so we'll see what the damage is.. Rip stop, water proof material and also will not collapse. But lets see if the company wizards can make it work.

I occasionally find myself tempted to just throw a ton of money at getting some custom cases done by a road-case company.

Pelican Cases are quite expensive but exceptionally tough. I've seen them used for large Forge World collections.

Agreed I've got 2 a double and one of the new triples and they are very sturdy and choosing your own foam allows some pretty impressive customization. My double holds 1500pts of space marines including 5 drop pods a dread 40 space marines 10 termies. The triple holds my orks 100 boyz 10 kommandos 12 lootas 16 grots 4 special characters with loads of spare space (2-3 spare trays).
