Hi, most of my Tau army is based with modeling snow, and I think it looks nice, but I recently found a new method for basing models with ice-looking effects, I tried it with a crisis suit and I love it, does anyone know how to remove Games Workshop modeling snow without harming the models?

How did you glue it down?

I actually have the same problem. I used your standard Elmer's (carpenters) glue.
I'm thinking that I'm either gonna try scraping it off with an exacto knife or just go over it with static grass and hope it turns out alright.

To remove any white powder like that, shut it in the same room as Lindsey Lohan and come back in 3 minutes.

Since you used a carpenters glue, as opposed to white Elmers, you might have to try to flex the base some to separate the basing elements from the base. Depending on how involved your basing is, you might be better off just making new bases from scratch and then gluing the painted figure down.

If all else fails, grind it off with a dremel.

If it's regular white glue, just soak it in water for half an hour then scrape the sludge off. If it's Carpenter's glue, that may not work. Might be easier just to cut the base off altogether and attach to a new one.
