I'm looking for opinions, do you kit out your ork battlewagons with te 'ard top upgrade? Is it worth 15 pts and loss of fire points and access points to lose the open top status?

Not worth it IMO. take the Armour Plates and Pray he only glances your Front 14. Turn 2 your cargo is delivered and it does not matter much what happens then

If you are transporting assault troops, you should not get 'ard top. If you are using your battle wagon as a pillbox or burna ride of doom, then you should get it.

"Burna ride of doom"? Please elaborate.

Also, consider the 'ard case if you're planning to make a Dakkaboss that won't carry any troops but will bristle with as many guns as you can fit on it.

Well what you do is, Take a Unit of 15 Burnas, in a Waggon, ride up and fire from the Waggon. Because of the way template weapons are done, you place 1 template, covering 5 or 6 marines (cause you just bunched them up when you tank shocked them by moving 6") then multiply by 15 to get the number of hits.

P.S. You don't want an 'ard top for that

only if your gonna run the BW as a guntrukk would i consider ard case.

No Ard Top at all. If you want a shooty styled Battlewagon, put Lootas inside one and stay put.
