Can they fire both pistols, or just one?

I think its just 1 unless its clearly specified with something else.

What do their Rules say?

In general, models with more than 1 Ranged weapon may only fire one per turn. However, multiple exceptions to this occur, so be sure to check. If I may ask, do you have a Specific model in mind?

Yup, by default models can only fire a single weapon in a turn (Rulebook, page 15)

Models that can fire more will have a special rule that specifically allows it.

For Example: Seraphim have 2 bolt pistols, and can fire them both at once as a twin linked bolt pistol (or inferno or hand flamer)
Space Marines, however, have both bolter and bolt pistol, and can only fire one.

ok thanks. I saw the pg 15 where it says unless otherwise steted etc. but couldnt find anything. I was asking because i was looking at the dark angel veterans box, and one of the models is equiped with both a plasma pistol and a bolt pistol/shield
