While they share the same races and backstory/fluff, I don't see any mentions of the tournament in WFB. Is BB on the warhammer world or is it completly seperate (just similar) like WFB and 40K?

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.”

Omadon's Realm

If you've ever watched hercules or xena, there are occasional comic relief episodes involving the actors playing the characters playing the actors, it's abit like that. It's the warhammer world thru the looking glass.

Not the 'real' fantasy battle world.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

Somewhere.

Well, can you really see the Elves and Dark Elves having a friendly match? Or the Orcs and...well, anyone? Although describing Blood Bowl as friendly is stretching it, I admit...

Sort of.

It is the same geography, same races, same feuds and magic.

Just a hugely popular game of football is present in the BB universe, whereas it isn't in the WHFB univers.

really.
Sadly, the sillyness of bloodbowl left the warhammer world a long time ago. and it is sad.

"Blood Bowl. A Games Workshop classic still loved and enjoyed by everyone except the company who published it"

but then again, it's a game. in my head, it's the same world.
