"Inquisitor Thyrun looked into the area where the ritual circle was held. He prayed to the Emperor that he did this right. He had the host chained to the ground, with the proper wards and pentacles set up to confine the deamon. Thyrun sighed. He was a rogue Inquisitor, many saw his theories on the daemonic heretical. Thyrun often thought that Chaos could be harnessed, controlled, and used for the greater good of Humanity. So much power was at stake here, and Thyrun would be heralded as the first man to harness such power for good. He offered a prayer to the Emperor, and went into the chamber to begin the ritual. Thyrun drew his ancient blade, forged in the volcanic fires of Mars. He looked at it, remembering how many times it had shed the blood of the guilty. He prayed that the blood of the innocent would not sully its edge. A door opened, and a pair of servitors brought forth the captured Imperial Guardsmen by the name of Gran. Gran wasn't much to look at, being a thin, lanky figure. Thyrun had chosen him for the sacrifice as he would not be missed. Thyrun knew that this one man would be the key to the gates of power, and that this sacrifice was worth it. 'One man's life for a thousand's', he said to himself. Thyrun took Gran by the neck and faced him towards the host. A quick, clean slice down his back had Gran falling down and spilling his blood upon the unconscious host. Thyrun opened the weighty Tome he had been studying after his encounter with the Word Bearers Legion, and began to speak in the Daemonic Tongue. The body began to twitch, then flail wildly. The host began to scream as loud as he could, begging for mercy from Thyrun. The hardened Inquisitor winced, his sensibilities pushed to the limit. Regardless, he held himself together and looked on. His work was complete. He had created a Daemonhost".
