I've got an idea for (what i consider to be) a cool chaos marine daemon prince. the problem is the model revolves around using the khorne juggernaught, a terminator lord, and the mark of slaneesh/lash/wings rules. would that be too confusing even if the unit is clearly marked on the army list?

The Termi armor on a model without Termi armor would bother me the most, and as long as the wings were on the Juggernaut it would be less of an issue. For casual or league play noone should care, but I wouldn't bother at a tournament.

If it's OBVIOUSLY a conversion piece I don't see it being a problem at tournaments. (And this sounds like it would be pretty obvious.)

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Honestly, I would have the most problem with this in a casual game. Slanesh and Khorn don't exactly get along very well.

But in a tourney, where wound allocation abuse and intertwined units abound, as long as all of the models have legal equipment, that wouldn't be a problem

As long as it is WYSIWYG I couldn't care less if it was a Nurgle Keeper of Secrets etc etc

THIS IS DOUBLE HERESY.
JK, I'd allow it with no problem.

That's the beauty of Counts-As. Anything can be anything.

I'm using unadultured (well, midly kitbashed) Terminator Lords for my Daemon Princes. As long as they look nothing like anything else, it's all good!

once i saw the fantasy khorne lord on a jugger, i was in love. the 40k one is still the old 2nd edition sculpt; is GW that hard up on sculptors that they can't make a lower body for a current CSM character to stick on it??? unfortunately, the rules for khorne in Chaos Bland Marines suck and i'd much rather have a lash and I6. once i thought how blasphemous that was, i figured i'd go over the top so NO ONE could look at the model and think it was WYSIWIG. a terminator on a jugg? you can't do that. a khorne model with lash? but... that's not possible! i was hoping to use the mount to signify his increased speed (wings) in additon to simply using the cool model. obviously, there would be no shennanigans on the army list, just a completely legal daemon prince.

Somewhere in the unknown universe.

You can just call it an undivided daemon prince with special blessings from khorne and Slaanesh.

I would have no problem with it.

It sounds like a cool model: could you post some pictures of it if you decide to build it?

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

DISCLAIMER: NOT MY MODEL!!

this is the effect that i was going for (albeit better painted than i would have been able to do it). someone beat me to the punch and painted it up for the toronto gamesday golden demon!
