i was just looking through their store and it seems most of the stuff (at least in US dollars) is at around 20% off, with some more and some less. didn't it used to be higher? i remember getting a better deal from them when i ordered a few months back. i do remember that the USD Pound conversion was better for me then (gave me an extra 5-10% off) but that doesn't seem to account for it all. when i look at my previous deal (including the currency conversion savings), i got around 34% off. did they lower their discount with the latest GW price raise? perhaps GW clamped down on them or raised their US prices more than the UK ones to equalize the cost for across the pond purchasers... they used to beat maelstrom's and the warstore's prices by a hefty margin but now appear neck and neck.

Yeah, it's pretty much GW's price increase...

Also, for some reason they take about 2 weeks before they even ship out the order now... (I've been waiting >2 weeks and they've not even sent it out... still "Awaiting stock."

Not 100% their fault, but still...

There was a message up about how they did not have enough staff to send out all the orders, and so people would have to bear with them until that was sorted out.
The prices have also gone up, but not very much, and it is still around (if not more than) 20%

I do know that the valk was $63 shipped to my door, as opposed to $96 at the local GW. Had I wanted 3, I would've merely 'paid' for two at my local rate.

Got good service from them, and the packaging was adequate to the task (surviving both royal Mail, AusPost and our customs mob) with no issues.

@Gwar!: You live in the UK, so you're somewhat closer. We (in the antipodean colonies) don't get anything international in less than a week (that isn't special rate - which covers express customs clearance). Even then, it usually takes a week to get mail from one side of this country to the other, and frequently between adjacent suburbs.

Whether it's from New Zealand or UK, it matters not. Still, it's not like I need it for gaming with (I wanted the model) and wasn't prepared to pay a fiq less than $100 for one.
