My brother is wondering this and is refusing to hand over his codex as he is writing his "Super Secret List" that no one can see. I do remember stopping him in his SM list because his Commander had about 240 Pts of wargear and I'm trying to avoid that situation again.

You can select whatever is allowed by the relevant unit entry in the Army list.

I believe so , most the the tyrants commonly seen should have way over 100 points of upgrades...

Yeah Thanks. I kind of felt stupid posting it but I didn't want a repeat of MASTER CRAFTED EVERYTHING.

Those 100pt limits are from way back in 4th ed and 3rd the new codexes and the tyranid one no longer have that type of limit.

What he said. Just make sure when he finaly hands over his list to make sure no biomorphs clash. Several Biomorphs cannot be combined with another.

And some are limited to certain broods/models. I would love to make a stealer brood with bioplasma.

It's mostly heads, tails, and backs that don't mix but there might be a few more.

Yeah well That was an interesting game-In hindsight i should have checked his bio's but i Trusted him. I killed his hive tyrant with a few turns of lasgun fire and did more wounds with them than i did with my Lascannons. Disappointing.
