40k Doubles Tournament
Location: Elite Hobbies – Dover, NH
Date/Time: Saturday July 18 - 10 AM until we are done
Format: 2 Player Teams
Teams will be made up of two players. Each player will bring 500 pt forces combing to make a 1000 pt team. You cannot borrow points from your partner Armies that partner together that are not of the same type should make sense.
Example team that makes sense: All Xenos team made up of Tau and Eldar
Example team that DOES NOT make sense: Imperial Guard and Orcs
You will be guaranteed 3 games. After everyone has completed 3 games the top 4 teams will continue to round 2 (everyone else is eliminated). Round 3 is for the top 2 teams which will determine the champion.
How do I get signed up?
There is room for 10 teams. You can enter by contacting Brian via PM on the forums, by emailing bhaines14@yahoo.com or by tracking me down at the shop. To guarantee your spot you need to sign up and each player on the team will need to give me the $5 entry fee.

500 to a side is a little slim... but I guess that does help get the games over sooner. Are the teams sharing a force organization chart, or are you each bringing a 500 point army?

As far as I know, 1 HQ and 1 Troop is required. They said something about you can only have one of each unit type after that until you can add duplicates of the FOC. Like, 1 HQ, 1 Troop, 1 Heavy, 1 Fast, Etc. Then once those are met, you can add another whatever.
