I'm selling my full Chaos Space Marine Army. It was originally based on the fallen Dark Angels paint scheme. As you can see, most of the army has been painted Dark Angels Green with various highlights in order to represent the fallen. Every basic color on each of the models consists of an average of three colors each: a shade, a base, and a highlight. I painted to the best of my ability on every marine to make sure they stood against all scrutiny. All the models (with the exception of the dreadnoughts) were primed before any additional painting was done. Mold lines have been removed on all of the models. The models are based with Citadel modeling flock (sand and grass) which has been painted to a death world scheme in order to properly enhance the look of the marines themselves. Every model has been completed. The only exceptions are the terminators which need the black to be highlighted (1:1 chaos black to codex grey) and the bases covered with modeling flock. Also, one of the rhinos is missing one smoke launcher.

Now, onto the army itself. The point values for each selection is listed next to it in bold.

As you can see, there is an excess of elite choices in this specific list. However, simply combining the terminators into one squad will solve the problem. Also, the havoc squad will come with an extra heavy bolter and autocannon because I happen to have extras. These are also painted and are included in the picture of the havoc squad. Additionally, one of the rhinos in the picture has a removable havoc launcher which was not included in the list.
This army can be changed to fit different point values by adding different upgrades. The list above is simply the list I chose to use. Chaos Space Marines have a lot of versatility and many different options to choose from. They can easily be made to fit many different playstyles.

Wowzers man, I love the painting. I can't say I am bidding, to poor, but it is a lovely army. I wish I could buy it. I am curious why your selling you army, a very well done army.

Thanks for the compliments. The reason I'm selling is because I'd like to start on another chaos army. I like the idea of starting fresh. Plus, I enjoy the modeling and painting portion of the hobby. So starting over sounds fun. I look forward to painting a new scheme and changing up the playstyle. However, I can't afford a new army unless I sell this one.

Just an idea, you could always trade these nicely painted models, if ebay don't work out, for even more models on Dakkadakka swap shop. Good luck.

I thought about that, but I would like to get some unbuilt sm tactical squads and add some chaos stuff to them to make them a more mid-heresy army. I don't think many people have unbuilt stuff laying around otherwise I might be more inclined to consider that.

Ok, come on, I've gotten a lot of views on this and nobody seems too interested. This is an army you can buy and play with the day you get it. It can't get any easier than that.

I've heard that for some reason, people don't mind spending $100 every week or two for months, but balk at spending several hundred at once. It doesn't make sense logically, because you could save and get a great deal, but it seems to be true.

I love your army, but that's definitely the position I'm in. I can only ever spend in smaller increments, and haven't stored them up enough to be ready when something like this comes around.

Ya, I think that must be the case. I never thought I would sell this army for this price. The retail value is $540 and I'm selling it for $599.99 and it's already built and painted well. If I sold it one squad at a time I would definitely charge more. It seems I may have to end up doing it like that....

I hate seeing this, its a beautiful army and if I had the $$ Id be tempted to pick it up. Even though I already have like 3 CSM armies lol.

If you do decide to trade it off let me know- Imay be able to find someone with enough unbuilt stuff to make it worth your time.
