I'm wondering how you all show Targetting Arrays and Drone Controllers on your suits. As far as i can tell, bits representing these options don't come in the box.

I just use one of the bits that does come and make the same on all suits which have it. All my Tau suit weapons and wargear are magnetised so they are easily swappable.

Scratchbuild something, on a basic frame there is always leftover parts
For example a collection of say scopes around some form of boxish shaped thing for a targetting array
Drone controller . . . extended helmet arials made of plasticard or something like that?

The polygonal chunk with an antenna is meant to be the drone controller (for battlesuits). For FW, the drone controller can be 'hardwired' (ie, a cybernetic implant) so doesn't really have to be shown (but the model with it should be painted slightly differently as the squad leader).
There is a targeting widget as well, that is used as both targeting array AND/OR Target lock by tau players I know, as well.

I thought I read the chunky box was a targetting array and the hoody-lense-box was the target lock.
Here's mine. I made it out of some left over bits on the sprue. The idea is the tubes in the front extend and plug into the drones for when the squad leader needs to reprogram them on the fly and can't risk a wireless signal being lost/intercepted.
