Weapon destroyed result on the main weapon system of a manticore- does this mean all of the rockets are destroyed or does this mean 1 rocket is destroyed? I assume it much like the whirlwind and the turret is destroyed. I am looking for confirmation.

(IIRC no codex here)

The Mantacore as 2 weapons, a HB and A Storm Eagle Rocket Laucher. The Launcher then has a special rule that allows it to only fire 4 times a game.

A weapon Destroyed takes out the laucher, making it unable to fire any remaining shots it would otherwise have.

Mechanicum Fleet 2000 1000
2000? (Almost all 2nd ed.)
I think that about covers it. For now.

That is untrue. It is listed as having a Heavy Bolter and "Storm Eagle Rockets" (plural).

If you flip to its special rules it makes it clear that it carries 4 of these rockets (although only one may be fired a turn).

So IMHO, each weapon destroyed only knocks out a single Rocket.

I was just thinking about this rule myself and I am unsure about how it should be applied.

It seems fairer (given how much your paying) and it does make sense (40k making sense? omg it must destroy them all then!)

Many started armies including: / , , ....and Bretonnia

The wording does suggest that it isn't one weapon system but rather four missiles - and this was the key fact of the argument. I would like to hear more opinions about this.
