Just a small one that came up tonight:

Marneus + 7 lightning claw Termies charged on each flank by Nightbringer & a Tomb Spider. Marneus ends up in base to base with the Tomb Spider.

Combat is resolved, a couple of termies die, commence pile in of survivors.

Question is thus- can Marneus leave base to base contact with the Tomb Spider and Pile in against the Nightbringer?

We played it as yes, but would like some other views.

Have a look at the first paragraph in the Pile In rules.

Models not currently in base contact make Pile In moves. Nobody else does.

exactly, just read the rulebook
