Ok so a long while ago i started a topic on building/painting 3 ork stompaz for me army... i got half way painted on 2 and some urgent family stuff came up... lately ive started working on them again as well as doing some of the third... If anyone saw zee topic before, they might remmember the specific stompa mob because ALL OF THE STOMPA'z has LED lights and SPEAKERS... Any who... my goal is to finish them soon and wreck the face... heres pics of those first two (hopefully near completion) c&c please... besides crew and details im near done... still a bit to do tho! (Black one is mah boss stompa... i forgot to put the face plate on its tummy D: )

EDIT: i forgot to mention.... My pictures suck... sorry D:

Oo belly guns!

How do you attach them on? I have hard time since the stompa doesnt have a flat smooth surface

Well if you look at what i did, i just found the gun itself... glued it on and cut random orky plates outa plasticard, then i glued em on like so

But ive also seen some people cut a hole in the stompa (id be so scared to cut into a 102 dollar model... at least a hole that big)

HAHA! lets put it this way... yesterday when i played... i didnt... now that i heard it... tommorow when I play... I will... rofl that first battle scene thing i seen on youtube/recorded was beast... normally i play battle music like... the DoW2 soundtrack and the 300 movie soundtrack and ork warboss stuff from various DoW games

I'm sorry but i'm going to brag that at my FLG I can get stompas for roughly $70

Now that I've probably made you envy me, good job on the first stompa.

Well see there is a FLG i can get them at for 70 too, but they get their gw stuff like couple weeks after gw stores... I couldnt wait!

I love your stompas. For the belly guns on my kustom stompa I just grabbed an earthshaker, cut a hole out of the hull, made the nose hole of the big face gliph bigger and then attached it with lots of glue.

I agree with fire4effekt, there needs to be a hole in the armor of the stompa in the barrel of those belly guns or it looks obvious that they were simply glued on. I personally drilled a hole in mine, surrounded it with random bits of plasticard and separated the boss plate to look as if the cannon was between its open jaws.

Back on-topic: I cut a hole in the belly of my first Stompa for the Bellygun, but I think the one's here look fine. Nice paint work as well...
