I pretty much call my son on a weekly basis. (They are in Oregon, I live in Virginia) However, my ex-wife didnt have him call me this weekend on Father's day....for the 3rd year in a row. No card, nothing.

Your ex sounds like kind of a bitch (from your earlier posts), but the kid's six years old, it's not like he's going to take initiative on calling you up.

If it doesn't seem like your ex-wife is the kind of person to initiate something like that, you should have been one the call.

Just seems to me that it would be common courtesy to have your 6yo call his father on fathers day.

I was just saying that if you really wanted to talk to him, you probably shouldn't have waited for your ex to take the initiative. (Seems like you've already figured that one out though...)

Not literally, they dismissed my motion to allow her to move clear across the continantal U.S. with my son.

Me-Virginia, them-oregon, around 2500 miles one way.

It makes everything difficult...except phone calls.

Im not joking , if he cares that much , he really should invest a cheaper alternative ( web cam for him and his son )
sure its not the same as seeing face to face , but been able to every other day , or on weekend sure is nice right?
