Subject summarizes it. I am in Berkeley, Ca and I am still putting together my Eldar army.

Where do ya'll game around here? I go to the Games of Berkeley, but the flourescent lighting really bugs me out. I stopped by the Endgame store (I think that was the name, it was in downtown Oakland) and they had a very nice store. They also seemed to be about 10% cheaper than my current store, and this is a great bonus.

So what is the verdict? I am also interested in making a gaming club outside of a store with cool folks.

I play at Black Diamond Games in Concord... well I did when I had an army... I'm kind of inbetween armies right now. Have you checked out Gamescape North in San Rafael?

Haven't taken a look outside of my local areas. Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond (I don't think there are stores here) etc...

I would be interested in taking a look at some stores, and possibly joining in on a few tourneys.

I lived in berkeley about 3 months. I thought end game was not bad. I even think they have had some GW official events before. THey have a veterans night as well which is supposed to be for more experienced players. Games of berkely i hated. It seemed like you had to ask ahead of time if you could use thier store to game at. I believe there is a GW store somewhere in dublin area. WHich is a bit of a drive Whatever that mall was on the other side of the hill.

I went to endgame to start playing 40k. The employees are pretty friendly and from what i can tell, the people that play there seem pretty nice too.
