Hi,
Long ago I saw a thread (either here or on warseer) with a few defiler variants. One was two legged and running with a gun coming out of the carapace.
Anyone know this thread, I tried to find it with the search function, but failed miserably.
Of course, if you have a cool alternative version of a defiler I won't mind seeing it.

Another alternative that is helpful.
Go to the gallery section. search for defiler, unbound defiler, and soulgrinder.
You'll see lots of examples.

Here's mine -
I've done a bit more to him since thses picts where taken & he now lives in the Portsmouth ( UK) GW cabinet

That photo is very small, and I can hardly see it.
Here are some nice conversions I have found, I will update as I find them.
This is a pretty good example of what you were talking about (I think) using a Dreadnought hull.
Sort of a defiler?
