why was the religion thread locked? I am not trying to be argumentative or anything but I just was wondering.

If you can please unlock it.
It had a lot of potential to be a good place to debate religious philosophies and beliefs in a civil manner.

It was pretty civil in there till you decided to blatantly offend everyone by calling Jesus "Cosmic Zombie Jew". It doesn't take a genius to know that saying that is going to cause a rise in some people. Let's see, posting something to deliberately get a rise out of some people? If I say Gwar is a dill weed, well then a reasonable person could sea where that is insulting and offensive. Itys the same argument. You're not arguing reasonable points for debate (mockery is not a reaonable point for debate), you're just insulting the person's beliefs. Thats not a discussion, thats an attack.

I was not mocking anything. That is just my Opinion on what Christianity entails. I apologise if it came across as an attack, but it wasn't.

What point were you making? That some beliefs in Christianity are weird when you describe them a certain way? Of course they are. But so are a lot of things when you describe them with bias. Hey guys get this, some people actually believe that billions of years ago something exploded sending out matter faster than the speed of light and then somehow that stuff collected using a force which we don't know how it exists to form galaxies and stars and planets. Must be like Cosmic Space Energy or something.

And why would I need to reconsider my beliefs if I got offended. I'm not especially religious but I do think calling Jesus a Cosmic Zombie Jew is offensive. You knew what you were doing don't try to play games. You were being a troll, at least man up to it and take credit for it.

Or continue to play the martyr card. We've seen this before, he now has his own blog where he can rant at will without bothering the rest of us. You and he sound like you could be future bff's!
