i was wondering if someone can help me out with this, last Wednesday we where playing a Apoc game (around 6k each side teams) and my team mate had a stompa with a Big Mek next to it. Now the question is can a Big mek with his tools fix a stompa and if he can, can he do it when the repair crew fix something on it, we didnt fight at the time but it was very confusing and wondering if you can do that. If someone can help with this i appreciate it

Stock Apoc rules question answer A: Its apocalypse you're supposed to be prepared for oddities to come up and make up house rules for them.

Personal answer: I'd let him, if it turned out to be game breaking don't do it again.

Cajun Country

A stompa is a vehicle (albiet a superheavy) it is still a vehicle. The Mek can fix a weapon destroyed or immobilized result on a 4+ in the shooting phase. So a Mek can fix a stompa. What's really broke is there is nothing that says a Mek w/ KFF can't obscure a stompa.

we have said no to the KFF affecting super heavies in APOC. but if siad stompa is part of the dred mob datasheet he can carry/be affected by that certain force field.

after 10 such apoc games we have come across alot of irks in the system that we had to weed out.

There ain't nearly enough Salvage in this thread!

Big Mek's can fix stompas. I run 2 stompas with 4 Big Meks each inside, one with a KFF for maximum survivability. Then again our Apocalypse games always were awfully competitive - Despite the 4 meks, the Klaw Stompa only made it 3" total movement the last time I used it...
