My name is Frenzied Potato and I am an Ork Addikt.

Three months ago I never knew this table top game / hobby ever existed. While hanging at a friends house I noticed in one of his rooms there were zounds of mini's staring back at me. Congratulating him on a job well done painting I asked if they were just for painting. His response had a touch of excitement as the statement almost came bellowed out, "You want to see what they are for?"

With a curious nod and a hesitant "sure?" He quickly informed myself that these were infact for a hobby game called warhammer 40k.I found his next statement a lil' disturbing. Is you can spend countless hours/days/weeks/monies building these minitures...so you can play with them? Which ultimately slowly degrades any work you put in them so I thought. What sort of masochist would risk timeless work for a simple game?

So layed out before me is a large table with hills buildings and nooks. Not even given a chance to absorb rules I was told simply, "On your turn tell me what you would like to do and I will show you how. But first, choose your army."

God so many choices and I don't have the slightest idea of what. Immiedatly my eyes catch a greenskin monstrosity that seems to be sucking in lil green guys to shoot from his gun. With a preset army infront of myself I stand confused of what to do. My reaction was simple...can I just charge at you and rip you to hell? Laughing he informed me that is their mentality in a nutshell.

On the second turn I was sold forever more to the collection, painting, building, warhammer 40k but most importantly the second turn showed me my true colors....On this turn you can Waagh!.....

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!!!!

Orks How I love thee, let me murder the way....

Been collecting for three months, started painting three months ago. After the excitement passed on recieving my first 500 point block of Ork Army I fell into a bleak despair of "how in the nine hells am I going to build, never the less paint these figures?" I do not want to anger the Mighty Ork Godz. After searching the internets I found Dakkadakka aptly named for my taste. Your tutorials are amazing, your contests intriguing, your community outstanding. I wish to join the ranks of your mighty community and possibly add to it. The skill abilities of your modelers / painters is absolutely amazing to the point of intimidation but your friendly tutorials show a snotling like myself can work his way up to Nob-hood.

Below is the results of three months of painting, building and playing. Just a small view of my current ork collection that is a constant W.I.P. Constructive critiscm always accepted following this request, Be brutal on what can help but gentle on the delivery for I have powerful paint stripping chemicals and not afraid to use 'em on the poor orks.

The ork boyz who resemeble waldo, joker or Jokork, snow ork, han solo in carbonite were fun lil things for my enemy to look for when the greenskin horde comes over da hill to krump some 'ummies. Tron Bike was in response to a Tau friend of mine in his anger blamed a loss to the damn tron bikes. Last but not least is my favorite piece I believe is one of my best Mr.Snikrot. My brother came in when I was painting one day and said his backpack looks like it was made of flesh....yes...it does look like that...infact...it is....

Had some darkshots of him so that enemies can get that glimmer of what he looks like before he kills. Basic theme of my army is Silver Black Goff opposed to just White black goff orks.

Thanks for having me, cheers and WAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds." ~ HK-47
