Glue gun , pva glue , 2 part 5 min epoxys they all work. Personally i like glue gun the most , its cheap , it can stretch instead of breaking.

I think lunas method is a bit more sanitary but I have seen everything from cat hair to fishing line to make drips. It's all about what you have available to you post pictures when you settle on a method!

I'd give a vote for epoxy, it's easy to do this with, tends try dry glossy and drippy, and can easily be colored.

I have see a very good tutorial on using fishing line and superglue gel followed by high gloss varnish.
Think it was on the Reaper forums somewhere.

Hot-glue can work quite well as long as the surface you use it on is textured and not smooth. The glue is surprisingly sturdy when applied to a porous surface, or to plastic which it will liberally "fuse" with.

Tallmantim did a lot of great work with hot-glue recently, and he did some mucus that you could use as a technique for drool quite easily.

To OP:

Again i recommend glue gun the most , mainly due to extremely easily controlled thickness of the drool you want.

Though wrex's example is abit different than how i use mine ^^;;;

I scratchbuilt a Zombie Dragon for my undead army and i can atest to the awesomeness of hot glue for making slime/drool/etc.

the zombie dragon is modeled to look like he just rose out of a putrid swamp, and i used a combination of greenstuff, hot glue, and melted plastic to make it look all nastified.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

Honestly hot glue is the way to go. Goto your local dollar store, you get a big of glue sticks, and the gun for a buck each. You cant go wrong there. Then you have a ton of glue to practice with before you drool up some minis. Good luck man

also try old-style plastic glue - the stuff in the metal toothpaste-type tubes.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

shoe goo works awesome. it can get very stringy and dries clear and fairly solid. Its easy to work with but can be a tad messy especially if you are doing detail work. Even if you only use a little bit it works great for cementing rocks together for terrain pieces. Just make sure you let it fully dry for at least 24 hours after that you can pitch it at a wall and it wont come undone.
