Hello everyone!

I'm new to these boards but Saint Anuman from our AT-43 forums, suggested that I take a look here. It looks like a bunch of people are interested in painting and modding AT-43 miniatures, so I figured I'd post a few pics from my collection and see what you think:

Col Stark and friends:

Steel Troopers:

Steel Tacarms:

Fire Toad:

I hope you enjoy the pics, and comments are always welcome! And if you like these, I'll post some more

Looking good!

Not a big fan of the "GW"-style bases, I prefare the "Rackham"-style or the "PrivateerPress"-style more. But that's a matter of personal taste! Either way, what you have done with your bases looks great! (just a bit off:ened by the uglyness of the edges)

Keep up the great work!

Heh I use super glue. I bend the hatch all the way backwards, put a small dab of glue in the hinge area, then push the hatch to halfway up and let it set. If anyone else has questions about how to do stuff, feel free to ask! I love to help people model and paint.

In order to get cool poses I end up having to glue everything in place. It means I lose some of the flexibility for the model, but for the amount of work I do detailing, I don't really want to handle them too much anyway. So yes, the hatch only comes off if it goes "snap"

Don't blame the artist - those are Dragonforge resin bases, I believe.

Yes, they are Dragonforge bases that I highly recommend! They come cast in resin, and are available in many standard sizes: 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 60 mm, 80 mm, 120 mm. Jeff Wilhelm is a great guy and he does many ranges of bases too! And yes Sikil, he is very GW influenced. He's a slayer sword winning artist Here's his link:

You don't think *I* disliked them, right?

Just making sure, because I like them.

Wow, those are really impressive!

At first I was convinced they were in a display case, but now I think it's some sort of dresser/mirror combo?

Very nice work... can't wait to see the Karmans

It's a display case with a mirror in the back of it. The mirror is great for looking at the back side of the minies, but not so great for trying to take pictures I'm too lazy to take all the figures out of the case for photo opps, at least until I have a nice table to set them up on. It's a nice case. There are 6 of those shelves!
