the list deploys as 3 land raiders, a rhino, a dreadnought, and some scouts
the land raiders box in the rhino and dread to protect them from fire for the first turn or 2 of movement, the scouts OBEL, and once I hit someones lines they are looking at 3 sets of 5 S5 I5 power weapon attacks, 32 S4 I4 regular attacks, 9 S8 I1 power fist attacks, and 3 S8 I1 thunderhammer attacks.

Optionally I start the rhino and dread in reserve as well and just hold them for backfield objective grabbing.


15 regular killpoints, and 37 killpoints in game #2 ouch.

You've read the rules for scenario 2 right? Space wolves arn't the best choice of army for Ard Boyz.

Good luck! I admire you for sticking with your army of choice! My first comment is why not kit a couple of the WGBL with thunder hammers as opposed to all frost blades. They should all have wolftooth necklace and runic charm. I've always found WGBL to be crap... Except one game where my opponent took one with a storm shield. He did not fail one 3+ out of over 50 saves and grinder through a pack of five Blood Crushers, lash prince and some plague bearers.

While a WGBL with a storm shield is a great bargain for the points I would probably take a Wolf Priest and a Rune Priest since they both add some more depth to your list. You should also load up on some wolves since the basically count as ablative wounds now and will help to keep your HQs alive longer. I would also take some WGBG in TDA... your ICs can't be targeted individually in close combat and again they'll just last that much longer. If you do it right four HQ could be a blessing in disguise.
