This is, admittedly, a shameless plug, but I think it fits here well enough.

I've noticed that whenever I pursue a project that requires any degree of casting, a few people inevitably approach me with the idea of selling copies of things I make. My typical answer is always something along the lines of "I'd love to, but I simply don't have the time" due to both family and my legal education. However, this is all about to change.

I've started working with a company located in Forth Worth, Texas, named D6 Hobbies. The company has some great people, quality casting equipment, and excellent materials at its disposal. Accordingly, I've negotiated a deal for them to produce and sell the resin casts of original parts that I send them. Therefore, I'm pleased to announce the creation of...

Warforged Miniatures is the new brand of the resin-cast products offered through D6 Hobbies, with it's own section in the webstore. The first product I'm happy to offer, by popular demand, are my Heavy Automatic Cannons, available for purchase individually or in sets of four. Nozeminer joins me in this endeavor with his own, unique brand of miniature bitz, offered under the moniker of "Nozeminer Studios". Those of you who browse The Warforge or The Waaagh regularly know that I sometimes outsource sculpting projects to Nozeminer, and to say that his sculpting talents are amazing is an understatement. He's put up a selection of useful bitz for all sorts of 28mm miniatures: Peaked Officer Caps, Savage Voodoo Masks, and Abhuman Gas Masks. We're going to have fully-painted pictures of our products in the next few days, and D6 Hobbies is restocking constantly.

The greater the support D6 Hobbies receives as it starts up these casting endeavors, the easier it will be for them to bring additional product up for sale, so please consider supporting their business. In the mean time, I'm brainstorming a couple different projects that will be decent products for both hobbyists and collectors alike. Input's welcome on existing and future products.

Good catch - didn't spot it in the long URL. It's fixed and now links to the right place, though if you take a peek around the store you'll also find the other products.

Currently we're just selling the gun assemblies, which come with the actual weapon itself and an ammo feed cartridge that can work on either side of the gun. If you want the turret, you're going to have to make it yourself, or find something to attach them to.

I'm looking into making a generic quad-weapon turret mount that could support the guns and a variety of other weapons, possibly to coincide with Planetstrike.

Awesome... I may start making lists to include the Hydra now that I know there's something out there to assist in me making some. I'm terrible at conversions on my own.

I am very happy to see you and Nozeminer doing this Ein! I have a suggestion. On Noze's gasmasks, the picture isn't very good. Having been privy to his sculpting skill for years, I know what a badass sculptor he is and how he can get ridiculous details. The picture doesn't portray this. Perhaps a retake, to do it justice?

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Will absolutely do. That photo's not mine, but the guy who runs D6 Hobbies, and he didn't have a good camera handy. In a few days, I'll have copies of all of the products he's selling, and I'm going to get him painted pictures of the product to replace all of the current ones with.

You can actually see helmets similar, if not identical to what he's selling here.

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

Holy moly, Death Mobz of Krieg! Very cool.
And while this will probably never happen, nor perhaps should it, I would love to be able to purchase an Ein pattern Stompa!

Awesome stuff!

I look forward to future offerings as well.

As a side note, are you (or Nozeminer) also accepting commission requests?

I generally don't do commission requests due to my wonky schedule, but if your proposed commission encompasses an idea that could be viably made into something for later casting reproduction and sale I'd be willing to hear.

I also can't speak for Noze, but I know from my own experience of commissioning him that he's at least somewhat open to the idea.

I'm a bit surprised and gratified to see the heavy automatic cannons have sold out already. Fortunately, there's more on the way:

One more update for all of you guys.

They've restocked the heavy cannons twice since I started the thread, and both times they've sold out. In order to get a better idea of the volume they're going to have to make, they've opened up a backorder option, instead of just having the listing read "sold out". Backordering whatever you want should only add one or two days onto the overall turnaround time of receiving the product - they're not forgeworld, so it won't take a month.

Looks like some good stuff. You might want to add a FAQ page, for example there is no real description if the pieces for sale are resin or metal.

I can see from the pieces on here they are resin, but the site leaves that ambiguous.
